To defend Les Scènes de la Forêt by composer Mel Bonis, we have taken the side of a literal interpretation of the poetic subtext, reconstructing a real forest around the three musicians of the Trio Zerline. Each of the four movements corresponds to a colorimetric signature, like successive appointments at the most spectacular hours of a sylvan stroll. Moonlight, blue hour and the most ardent twilight make up this musical fresco in four times.
