With "Misa Criolla - El Latin Jazz Project", Emiliano Gonzalez Toro and Alain Pérez reinvent the work of Ariel Ramírez in an explosive fusion of sacred music and popular fervor. In Havana, where the sacred mixes with the profane, I wanted to capture this tension by transforming the "Credo" into a joyful and elusive procession. First wandering in a car in the sun-drenched streets, the music gradually contaminates the space until it explodes into a street party where the singers become preachers, carried by the energy of young dancers. Between carnival, road movie and ritual, I wanted this video to be an ode to freedom, to music as an act of faith and to the effervescence of Havana, where every moment oscillates between intoxication and prayer.
