'The Singing Violin' is a short feature film showcasing the young violinist Luka Faulisi. Rehearsing in the attic of a mansion, the young virtuoso dreams of one day playing the great opera arias he admires at the Opéra Garnier. A game of hide-and-seek with a young woman dressed as Carmen becomes the scene of a fantasized chase through the most sumptuous places of the Palais Garnier. The stake of this project was to build a story with a strong symbolic dimension, depicting the music of the famous Habanera from Bizet's Carmen. These constraints allowed us to highlight, in particular through several successions of dynamic, original and rhythmic plans, the places which were mobilized for the occasion.
