In this new opus with epic overtones, Florian Sempey introduces us to another of his passions: the world of knights and medieval tales. For him, "a mysterious force emanates from fortified castles: old stones have always fascinated me". Ferrum Splendidum refers to his ancestors who were blacksmiths in the Périgord... Failing to follow this lineage, the French baritone chose to work the raw metal of his voice and it is at the height of his art that he conceived this rich program, culminating in the air In Taberna from the famous Carmina Burana by Carl Orff.
