​ All of Elise Bertrand's work as a composer draws on and assumes an extension of the tradition of forms and the language of expanded tonal music of the 20th century. This first disc was for me the opportunity to revisit with the artist several titles and atmospheres taken from his first ten opuses. In the sumptuous setting of a 19th century mansion and a Tartar tent signed Emilio Terry, the violinist and composer gives free rein to her creative verve for a few scenes frozen in time.
